Queen City Pools is a family-owned, licensed and insured pool service company serving Liverpool, Syracuse, and the surrounding Central New York area. We run Hayward equipment and use high-concentration chlorine, not diluted store product. We treat every pool like it's our own.

Professional closing protects your pool and prevents costly winter damage. We lower the water level, blow out and treat the lines, balance chemistry, and secure a safety cover so your pool sits safely through the cold months.
We pull and clean your cover, secure the anchors, and install your railings. Then we check the motor and filter for leaks, add high-concentration chlorine, and sweep the sides down. Vacuuming is available if your pool needs it, and we will tell you before we do it.
Every visit covers water testing and balancing, high-concentration chlorine, skimming, brushing the walls, and emptying the baskets. If something falls outside that, we tell you before we touch it.
Straight answers about closings, openings, and weekly service
Most Liverpool and Syracuse pools close between mid-September and late October, once the water stays below about 65 degrees. The goal is to close before the first hard freeze.
Water left sitting in the lines can freeze and crack them, and that repair costs far more than a closing. If a hard freeze is forecast before your appointment, call us and we will try to move you up.
Call or email and we will usually have you booked within a week. Late September through October is our busiest stretch for closings, so earlier is better.
We accept credit, debit, and PayPal, and you pay after the service is done.
